The beach is at its quietest early in the morning, when the water is still and the day has barely begun. Walk down with a towel, swim for as long as you like and come back when breakfast feels like the right next thing.

Some of the best afternoons begin around a simple table. Fresh fish, vegetables, bread, something cold to drink and nowhere else you need to be. We will gladly point you toward the places we would choose ourselves.

When the heat softens, the island changes pace. Small streets fill slowly, tables move outside and evenings stretch without much effort. Stay for dinner, wander a little longer and return when you are ready.
